Twoku: Stump in clearing lit / by light it never gave leave / to pass its branches.
Honestly, I love this second version – the “twoku” for this one – which is actually the last of five versions I wrote…but it’s a little convoluted in the language/meaning – what do you think?

Like second one better too. “Stump in clearing light” excellent image– playing with dark/light is tricky.
