Forbidding facade / cold, cracking, crumbling concrete / grey, grim, glowering.

I know it’s not a traditional haiku (not even close), and calling it senryu is even a stretch. But it was fun to squeeze all that alliteration into seventeen syllables…

Inspired by the hulking edifice of the “Pirelli Building” (now “Hotel Marcel”) in the Long Wharf district of New Haven, Connecticut (next to IKEA).
