Looking at the bowl / full of fava beans wishing / for nice Chianti.

Looking at the bowl / full of fava beans and wish / I had chianti. // haikumages

Twoku: I stare at the bowl / full of fava beans, thinking / Silence of the Lambs.

Forgive me, but it’s what I think of immediately — still, years later — whenever someone mentions, or I see fava beans. The association is permanent, indelible and irreparable.  It’s also just a little bit funny, don’t you think?  🙂
