“Haikumages” are short poems (mostly haiku and senryu-style) combined with images (mostly original photographs and graphics) by Russ Murray.
I just love the phrase “polar vortex” — it seems like a lot could be done with it. Your timely haiku and photograph with the stark tree with the two shades of blue background, that is a stunner.
Yes, I love “polar vortex” too – it’s one of the great new phrases (although Al Roker traced it to old weather language, back in the 50’s?) coming out, when so many new words and phrases are pretty crappy… Funny, the internet blew up with it as I posted this one! Really glad you liked the ‘ku, and the photograph (one of my personal faves)…
