“Haikumages” are short poems (mostly haiku and senryu-style) combined with images (mostly original photographs and graphics) by Russ Murray.

  1. I live where there is no snow. What is the blackness? It looks like when you burn the top of a marshmallow. OH, my, I didn’t realize with a click, I could magnify your photo, and then with another click, I got closer and closer, and then I could see it was a shadow on the grass. I could see the individual blades of grass sticking up through the shadow.

    1. Haha – where do you live that there is no snow?! Though I lived in San Diego for a year, I am so accustomed to the NE US seasons, and snow, that I think/write as if everyone gets snow… 🙂

  2. San Francisco, no snow, December has been very warm.

    1. Nice, enjoy it! I shoulda known a cool lady like you would live in a cool city like SF… 🙂
