Gray Towers - by Bill Batson

Took a step forward / from black and white to gray / close yet far away.

This Haikumages post is extra, super-special, because I didn’t write it, and the image isn’t mine…instead, it’s from one of my oldest friends, the artist Bill Batson!

In telling me about his latest work, he described it in haiku, which became today’s post (a free-form 5-6-5 poem). Sure, I knew he was fishing for a “shout out”, but when the words and image were so good, I had to post it!

Enjoy, and check out Bill’s blog and art at www.billbatsonarts.com 🙂
