OK, this one’s a little silly, but it is something to rejoice about!  Sure the NY Marathon was cancelled (rightly so!) but NYC power means more resources can get to people who need them, elevators are working, businesses can get back to work…

Originally written a year ago, after the power went out in CT due to the freak Halloween snowstorm…or was it the November Nor’Easter blackout?  Re-posted now as Manhattan (with many friends, clients and family members there) came back online…

Our haiku hearts go out to those (in NY and NJ) whose power has not yet been restored, or are suffering far worse losses and difficulties in the wake of Hurricane Sandy…
