The thin man / casts a long shadow / after noon.

This little ‘ku has particular importance and feeling to me. It relates to a poem written by my father entitled, “The Thin Man, a Sculpture” which was inspired by a tall, thin, Giacometti-esque sculpture we had in our home growing up.

“Haikumages” are short poems (mostly haiku and senryu-style) combined with images (mostly original photographs and graphics) by Russ Murray.
