This little ‘ku has particular importance and feeling to me…it relates to a poem written by my father entitled, “The Thin Man, a Sculpture” which was inspired by a tall, thin, Giacometti-esque sculpture we had in our home growing up… 🙂

The long afternoon shadows have always held a fascination for me since I was a little girl. You have captured some of the mystery with the reference to The Thin Man, one of my favorite old time movies.
Yes, I’ve never stopped, but slowed to 2-3 haikus per month, since my business got busy and I’m doing lots of photography posts for that… You should get back to it!
