Wow, these photos came from the iphone? I cannot believe it!! You must have some special program on it. Mine is fine for close ups, but I did not add any programs to it. What exactly did you add to yours?

Many, not all of the pics with the haikus are taken on an iPhone. Some are with a big Canon DSLR though, like the weather vane yesterday. On the iPhone, I use the Hipstamatic camera app heavily, as you can pick an image effect “in camera” rather than editing afterwards… I like some of their “lens/film” combinations and use them often. Sometimes I do a little editing though, in a variety of iPhone image edit apps… 🙂

Thanks, I was thinking of getting an app for my iphone camera. Your photos are really fantastic, and it is actually the skill of the photographer more than the equipment!!!

Well…you’re welcome, but it’s a combination of tools and skill…and skills are built by trying, looking at others for ideas, and then evolving into your own vision over time!

I looked up the hipstamatic app you mentioned, and a bunch of people said the new revision was not working for them. Maybe I better wait before I get an app for my iPhone photos.
