I’m all over it / like white on rice, sauce on ribs / and like a cheap suit.

OK, so this haiku (senryū, actually) contains three of the four common variations of the expression, “I’m all over it like…”  The fourth and most common one (as I’m sure you know) is, “…like stink on s**t!” Expletive partially deleted…

Do you have any favorite, regional or cultural variations on this expression?  If so, I’d love for to share — please comment with your best ones, or make up a couple and post them!

“Haikumages” are short poems (mostly haiku and senryu-style) combined with images (mostly original photographs and graphics) by Russ Murray.

One response to “I’m all over it / like white on rice, sauce on ribs / and like a cheap suit.”

  1. I actually never heard this one although it sounds vaguely familiar.
