State of the union / President’s address leaves me / full of hope again.

Twoku:
State of the onion / layers peeling, revealing / what’s lying beneath.

“Haikumages” are short poems (mostly haiku and senryu-style) combined with images (mostly original photographs and graphics) by Russ Murray.

  1. Layers peeling, revealing—- very nice image!! Did you set up the onions like that, or did you use photoshop??

    1. Thanks! I set the onions up like that…my lady is a chef, so I get many culinary photo opps around the house, continually…

  2. I like the heart shape in the middle of the onions. Goes with the heart of Americans — sometimes hard to find under the layers of stress and “get to the points” — but always there and guiding us all in good directions. Thanks Russ.

    1. Hey Liesa! Great to hear from you and thanks for your comments on the haiku! I agree… 🙂
